This first one, I simply admired as a cool modern quilt, until I looked at the photo:
This one, I thought at first was a log cabin block, but it’s actually half a log cabin. Very striking:
This log cabin quilt is beautiful, but I did think it was simply scrappy, until I looked at the photo, and discovered the light and dark of it:
