i
am
dog
tired.
So tired, that I can barely function long enough to inform you all that I have not died, but that costumes are going well and we had an
amazing
photo shoot last night. See, I don't even have the energy to do anything to embellish the "amazing." But if I could I would blow it up to the largest font possible and italicize it and bold it and make it all sparkly and explosive and .... amazing. You'll just have to imagine it.
But people....really... the costumes are just plain awesome. It was such a RELIEF (there, I capitalized) to see all the kids getting in and out of velvet capes and fluffy bird dresses and baseball uniforms and green frog tights and Hairspray outfits and '80's prom dresses and the most super cool looking trees I've ever seen..... it all suddenly became real last night, and it was the shot in the arm a lot of these kids needed to get their adrenaline going for the last three weeks of rehearsals before opening night. It's all coming together, and it felt really good to see what the last six weeks' work has produced. We're not just making progress at this point, we're having success!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I'm probably going to have little time to keep in touch over these last three weeks, so don't despair if I don't show up in your blog comment list or if I don't post for a while. I will let you all know when the photo shoot pictures are up online on our CMTO website, so you can all see what I've been up to. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

10 Happy thoughts:
I spell relief like this: C R U I S E.
Of course, when hubs says NO, despite friends who found me an amazing deal and are going without me, I spell it this way: T E M P L E.
But I still want the cruise.
I'm so glad everything is going so well! What fun. I knew you were just the lady for the job.
So glad! Yay!

So glad to hear that you are busy doing what you love to do! I hope the costumes are as amazing as you planned them to be!
I was going to spell relief S U G A R... but Laura's second spelling of relief makes me look petty and lame indeed :)
